Opening hours
We are open every day of the week, Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, including weekends. Calls, WhatsApp messages and quote requests are answered in those hours, usually within the hour.
Our yard is on Durham Road in Birtley, just off the A1(M), which is where our vans and storage are based.
What to include in your request
To get an accurate price first time, tell us the collection and delivery addresses, your preferred date, the size of the property or the items involved, and anything awkward such as stairs, no lift or restricted parking.
Mention if you need packing materials, furniture dismantling and reassembly, or storage at our Birtley yard, and we'll add them to the estimate. Most standard jobs need no deposit; for larger or long-distance bookings we may ask for a small one and will always confirm it upfront.
We cover Birtley, Chester-le-Street, Durham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Gateshead, Darlington, Middlesbrough and the wider North East, plus long-distance moves UK-wide. Every job is fully insured.
Businesses can ask about contract work too: regular collection and delivery of palletised or non-palletised goods, run from our Luton van fleet. For one-off jobs such as collecting bulky items from auction houses, eBay sellers or furniture shops, a photo and the two postcodes are usually enough for a price. If your plans change after booking, let us know as soon as you can and we'll do our best to reschedule at no extra cost.
