Packing is the part of a move people underestimate. A three bed house is usually two full days of work if you do it yourself around a job and a family, and badly packed boxes are the single biggest cause of breakages on moving day.
We offer full packing, where our team boxes the whole house, and part packing, where we take on the rooms that take longest such as the kitchen, the loft and anything fragile. You choose how much you want to hand over.
We bring double walled cartons, wardrobe boxes, bubble wrap, tissue, tape and labels, and everything is marked by room so unpacking at the other end is not a treasure hunt. All packing work is covered by our goods in transit insurance once it is loaded.

How long does packing a house take?
As a rough guide, a two bed house is around a day for our team and a four bed is two days. Doing it yourself around work and children usually takes considerably longer.
Can I have only some rooms packed?
Yes. Part packing is very common, with the kitchen, loft and fragile items handled by us and the clothes and books left to you.
Do you supply the boxes and materials?
Yes. Double walled cartons, wardrobe boxes, bubble wrap, tissue, tape and labels are all brought with us.
Is professionally packed furniture better protected?
It is. Poor packing is the most common cause of damage on a move, which is why we would rather pack the fragile things ourselves.
Do you unpack at the other end?
We can. Tell us when you book, because it changes the crew time we allow for the day.
