Some items should never be a two person lift with a blanket and hope. Upright and baby grand pianos, safes, gun cabinets, marble tops, large mirrors, grandfather clocks and antique furniture all need planning before anyone touches them.
We survey the route first: door widths, stair turns, bannister removal, floor protection and where the van can sit. Then we bring the crew size, straps, skates and boards that the job actually needs.
This work is fully insured for goods in transit and public liability. If we do not think an item can be moved safely by the route available, we will tell you before you book rather than find out halfway down a staircase.
